Many patients ask what the difference is between the two units we carry. The Alpha-Stim SCS has one output for ear clip electrodes only. The Alpha-Stim 100 has two outputs which can be used for the ear clip electrodes, probe electrodes, or silver electrode pads. Generally if you want to treat depression, anxiety, and insomnia only you should order the Alpha-Stim SCS. If you want to treat chronic pain as well as depression, anxiety, and insomnia you would order the Alpha-Stim 100.
